Rainbow Nails

Hello everyone! :)

I'm sorry if I didn't came here too often, but I've been full of work to do and it became impossible for me to come here and post new nails. I'm so tireeeed... But well, it doesn't matter.

So, this time I got inspired by the big blue sky and this beautifull rainbow I've seen the other day, it was sooo pretty!

I think my picture is a little blurred, so I'm sorry for that.

And now, the how to do these nails!

It's easy to do but it requires tons of steps, I think, so far, these are the nails with more steps I've ever had. They take no time at all to do.

  1) Take a good care of your nails and apply a base coat to protect your natural nail. Apply two coats of a sky blue nail polish.
  2) With a toothpick or a dotting tool, apply red dots in a irregular way. But make sure you have space enough for the other colors.
  3) Again, with a dotting tool, apply orange dots underneath the red ones.
  4) With a light yellow, again, apply dots underneath the orange ones. Attention, at the end of all these steps I painted again with yellow 'cause I wanted it to stand up a little more.
  5) This time, with green, apply a few dots underneath the yellow.
  6) After green, apply blue dots to your nail.
  7) At last, apply purple dots on the bottom of your nail. Besides adding yellow again to the design, I've made a few smaller red dots on the top of my nail, and a smaller purple dot on the bottom. Apply a top coat to protect your design.

They are extremely easy to do and they look fancy!

  Kisses,
  Patrícia :)

Chocolate and Vanilla Nails

Hello everyone! :)

It's been really hot these days, and all I wanted to do was to eat icecream! (hihi) So, why not inspiring myself in my favorite flavors? Chocolate and Vanilla! Yummi.

I've added some circles and stripes 'cause I thought that only brown and yellow, wouldn't look so good. Ain't that good looking?
Well, I can't really explain to you every single nail, 'cause I did each one different from the other.
To this chocolate "french nail" you must:

  1)  Take a good care of your nail and apply a base coat to protect your natural nail. After that, apply two layers of yellowish/vanilla polish.
  2) Apply a chocolate brown polish on the top of your nail and make a french manicure. Make sure to make it large.
  3) At last, apply a stripe of each color you wish on top of your french manicure. Don't forget to top coat your nail, to protect your design.

To my only nail that is completly brown:

   1) Take a good care of your nail and apply a base coat to protect your natural nail. After that, apply one or more layers of chocolate brown nail polish.
  2) Apply a stripe of each color of polish you wish on your nail, and keep doing it until your nail is over. Apply a top coat to protect your design.

Really simple, right? This is a really good design to use your imagination! Hope you enjoyed it.

  Kisses,
  Patrícia. :)

Gradient Nails

Hello everyone! :)

This time I've tried something completly different from what I have done so far. I saw a similar picture on Facebook and I wanted to try that out with some different colors.
I think they turned out to be really simple to do, and they look amazing.

How about that? You can mix up any color you'd like. I mixed hot pink with a yellow, 'cause they remember me of California Beaches.
So, to do there nails you will need some Scotch Tape.

  1) Take a good care of your nails and apply a base coat to protect your natural nail.
  2) Apply 2 times a light pink nail polish, or whatever you'd like.
3') With the scotch tape, make a triangle on your nail. Remember, make it wider on the top of your nail, and smaller on the bottom. Try not to touch your cuticle with the edge of the triangle.
3'') With a makeup sponge and a little bit of hot pink, paint the top half of your triangle, try to make a gradient with it, darker on the edge, lighter on the middle.
  4) Again, with a makeup sponge, apply yellow on the bottom half of your triangle. And again, make a gradient, darker yellow on the bottom, lighter on the middle.
  5) At last, apply a top coat to protect your design.

  Hope you liked it!

  Patrícia. :)
